THE TALENT PLUS MISSION

We believe every person has talent. Talent's expression is dependent upon the opportunity to express it.

It is the goal of Talent Plus to help its clients and their employees express this talent to the mutual benefit of the individual and organization.

Talent Plus®* was founded in 1989 by Dr. William E. Hall and Douglas B. Rath. Dr. Hall is the developer of both the Strengths Theory and the Structured Interview Process, as well as, co-founder of Selection Research, Inc. (now Gallup) with Dr. Donald O. Clifton. Dr. Hall's dream was, "What would the world be like if everyone went to work each day using their talents and strengths and were successful at their chosen work?"

At the heart of the Talent Plus system is a technology process for the selection and development of associates. This methodology utilizes human resource testing methods to identify and interview job candidates based on the key talents that are found in top performers. Talent is defined as a natural ability that cannot be taught. Talent is different from skill, which can be enhanced through training.

Talent Plus believes that while each person has talent, not all talent fits well into a particular position. We hear about organizations trying to teach someone how to sell or train a manager how to be effective. Often we hear that they failed. If an organization is to grow, it must select associates with the right talents. Selection decisions are the most critical decisions a company makes.

The Talent Plus Quality Selection Process(sm) is based on the study of success. Developed by Dr. Hall, the company's Structured Interview process has been continuously effective in maximizing human potential. Talent Plus has improved the quality of many organizations through increased customer satisfaction, sales, profit, employee retention, and productivity per person.
